Copied from obit; She moved to the Stone County area, in 1934, worked at the garment factory, a member of the Baptist Church, a member o f the WPFA of Crane. Services were in Crane Christain Church with th e Rev. Gene Waite officiating, burial in the Cilo Cemetery, Jenkins Mo. Survived by her husband Joe of the home, three daughters Mrs. Joe Ellen Gideon of Springfield, Sue and Kay both of the home; two sons Calvin and David both of the home. One sister and three brothers.

Thursday, morning 9:00 clock June 10 1880-81, Present and presiding , same Judge as yesterday, comes on this day, Sina Cook widow of Thoma s Cook died of late, of this county , and now moves the court to mak e an order vesting the estate of her said husband in --------- and is appealing to the court, from the petition, and explains offered in the cause that the said Thomas died ------------ of the following real estate, laying in this county to wit : The north east quarter of th e north east quarter of the section 19 nineteen township 18 eighteen range, twentyseven 27 east except so much of this described tract as his on the west side of said Sina Cooks, Spring Branch, being about 10 ten acres sold by Thomas in his life time. That said land is the only real estate, owned by the deceased, at the time of his death and that the estate of Thomas Cook was not worth over $300.00 dollars Thomas died, 28th January 1893 buried Austin Cemetery , Best Arkansas alongside his wife Siney ,

He was married 1718 at Kennet Monthly meeting. John purchased a tract of land in London Grove, Chester Co. Pennsylvania, and built a log house, 20x30 with three rooms. This house had a large chimney, wit h a open fire place, so that four foot wood, could be burned in it la ter a stone addition was added to the other. By his will in 1758, the stone house was left for a widow, during her life time. His son, Stephen, was to care for his Mother, as long as she lived. The old house was torn down in 1858 (From records of Harmon Cook and is believed to have been copied from American Friend)
John and Peter remained in Pennsylvania and many of thier descendants are still to be found in Chester, Lancaster, York and Adams counties , Many are now scattered over the western states.
